Rușii sunt implicați, în acest moment, în două conflicte: Ucraina și Siria. În Ucraina, ne aflăm la începutul unui război civil, iar în Siria ne aflăm în plin război civil unde avem peste 150.000 de victime. Ambele conflicte se derulează pe fondul alegerilor prezidențiale. Poziția Moscovei față de cele două confllicte este diametral opusă celei a occidentalilor. Given the large turnover in newly elected members of both houses of Congress and the ascent of the twenty-somethings to positions of power in the White House, it is pretty clear why American governments suffer from near fatal bouts of historical amnesia or, worse, ignorance.
